Fr. Philip Larrey, Ph.D.

Fr. Philip Larrey teaches philosophy at Boston College. He has been full professor of logic and epistemology at the Pontifical Lateran University and dean of the Faculty of Philosophy. His publications concern the philosophy of knowledge and critical thinking. He has published several books on the effects of the new digital age on society. Two of his most recent works highlight this theme, Unknown Future (IF Press) and Connected World (Penguin). The Italian translation of the latter was published by Mondadori in 2018, with the title “Where the Future Begins.” He has been following the philosophical implications of the rapid development of artificial intelligence for years. His latest book is Artificial Humanity, IF Press, 2019.
